I have been photographing Indie Summer nights on Fountain Square in Cincinnati for the past 3 years. Have I actually posted any of these photos? Not really. Some made their way onto Facebook and some went to the bands that have played, but in general the photos are still on my computer (and on an external drive that I haven't been able to access lately.) Something happened to my camera last year and I can't get the same great photos I used to be able to get. But I would still got to shows and this past Friday I thought I worked out some of my camera issues. However, when viewing them, sadly, exposure is still poor in the photographs. But I managed to edit them so they are presentable and here they are now.
The bands on July 15, 2011 were The Pass, Starfox & Eat Sugar
The circuits blew 4 times at the A Place to Bury Strangers show. What else besides sharing the band's wine can the crowd do? Play with shadows
On Saturday night I didn't check out too many bands. I was too anxious to see APTBS. Lighting was a problem at a couple of places. I planned to not take any photos at A Place to Bury Strangers. But you'll see I did take a few anyway. They like to play in the dark, so it's really not easy. Once again, no music reviews just photos.....
